Editing Portfolio
To help you understand my goals as an editor, I'll share my personal credo:
Never put arrogance, power, prestige, or money over integrity and truth: doing what’s right should always supersede doing what’s convenient. Remember that a job done well is worth doing right the first time, and that it’s always worth the effort to double- and triple-check. Avidly research even the smallest of details. Don’t be afraid to admit when you don’t have an answer. Remember that you are one editor of many and that much can be learned from the many. Never assume you’ve reached your cap on learning. Push upward and onward, always.

In my undergraduate courses in editing, I found that in-class editing exercises were where I shined most. Check out the following samples of my editing.
